9 Simple Home Remedies for Diarrhea Relief!

Diarrhea is also known as, Stomach Flu. It is a common digestive problem that causes soft stools, cramping, bloating or watery bowel movements. It can be caused by: bacterial infections, viruses or parasites. Your body can lose a lot of water with every bathroom trip! It is essential to drink a lot of fluids.

Below are a few remedies that can help you get firm stool fast and make you feel better:

  • Drink a glass of Carrot Juice for 2 - 3 days.

  • Mix 1 tablespoon Honey and 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder. Consume it.

  • Heat 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice, 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder and 1/2 teaspoon Sugar. Let it cool down for 2 - 3 minutes and drink it.

  • Add 1 tablespoon Papaya Powder to a glass of Water or Smoothie.

  • Eat an Apple for 2 - 3 days.

  • Take 3 tablespoon Hot Water, add 1/2 teaspoon Instant Coffee and drink it in one go.

  • In a bowl of Plain Yogurt (Curd), add 1 table spoon Cumin seeds and eat it.

  • In a glass, add 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, 1/4 teaspoon Salt or Pink Salt or Black Salt, 1/2 teaspoon Sugar, 1/2 teaspoon Crushed Ginger, 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder and 1/2 teaspoon Roasted Cumin Powder. Pour Water or Soda Water, mix well and consume after a meal.

  • Boil 1/4 - 1/2 cup diced Raw Papaya in 1 cup Water. Strain the Water and eat the Papaya.

You can protect yourself by washing your fruits and vegetables properly. Cooking your food thoroughly is equally important. Avoid eating foods that irritate your digestive system. Try changing your diet temporarily and don't consume food that has gone bad or expired. Keep yourself hydrated at all times.
