9 Effective Home Remedies to Stop Migraine

A Migraine is much worse than a terrible headache. It can disturb your day to day life. Although, there are many medicines available to give you relief from the excruciating pain. Natural home remedies also exist.


Here are a few remedies you can easily do at home to get rid of Migraine.



  1. Soak 1 tablespoon of raisins in a glass of cold water for 1-2 hours and consume it.

  2. In a glass of warm milk, add 1 teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter) and drink it. Add a little jaggery (natural sweetener) if you dislike the taste.

  3. Have warm Jalebi in the morning before breakfast.

  4. Take 1 tablespoon of ghee. Rub it on your forehead. Massage for at least 2 minutes.

  5. In a cup of hot water, add 1 teaspoon of turmeric and consume it.

  6. Take 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon on basil juice (Tulsi). Mix and drink it.

  7. Drinking coconut water relieves migraines and headaches.

  8. Rub clove oil on your forehead for 1 minute for relief.

  9. Keeping a Lavender Plant at your windowsill helps with Migraine.


Having a Migraine can be very challenging and stressful. You would probably miss work or any other activities. Trust me! Talking from experience, having a migraine is far worse than a nightmare.
