5 Homemade DIY Natural Cleansers for All Skin Types

Updated: Feb 10

Fancy or pricy face products are overrated! The most essential part of skincare routine is cleansing. Here are some natural cleansers you can try which are gentle on your skin, plus you know exactly what you are applying to your face.

Jelly Cleanser

Mix Gelatine and Water (using the double boiler method) until it dissolves. Let it cool down for a few minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Store in a container or a bottle.

Rose Cleanser

Mix lanolin oil, petroleum jelly, distilled water together. Slowly add hot water to the mixture and mix well. When cooled down, add rose essential oil. Fill it in a bottle and use.

Cucumber Cleanser

In a vessel, combine all the ingredients (double boil) until it starts boiling. Once the mixture cools down, fill it in the bottle and refrigerate it.

Milk Cleanser

  • 4 tablespoon Milk

  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice

  • 1 tablespoon Cucumber Juice

Mix the above ingredients together and apply on the face with a wet cotton pad. Wash the face afterwards.

Almond Cleanser

Mix both the ingredients and use it to clean the face. Rinse with cold water. Pat dry.

Store these for upto 15 days.

I strongly believe that switching to natural cleansers, can really simplify your skin care routine. Sometimes natural ingredients are always better.

Try these cleansers and keep glowing!

NOTE: I recommend doing a patch test for 24 hours before applying on face. If it causes any redness or discomfort, avoid further usage. Anyone who has allergies from any of the above ingredients, DO NOT try them.
