100% Herbal Hair Treatment

Hair



Every person has at least 100000 hair follicles on their head. You tend to lose at least 75 to 100 hair strands everyday, either by combing or washing your hair. Hair can grow up to 1 1/2 inch every month.

People have different types of hair. Therefore, treatments vary according to these hair types. Below are some effective natural hair treatments.



Different Types of Hair Care Routine


Dry Hair


In these types of hair the oil bags do not work well. That is why your hair tends to be rough, dry and dull. If care is not taken, your hair will start to fall and will also cause dandruff.


Care for Hair:


  1. Comb frequently so that the pores open and the hair follicles start functioning properly.

  2. Do not use hair dryer and avoid washing hair everyday.

  3. Take 4 - 6 tablespoons of Coconut Oil and 1 tablespoon of Multani Mitti (fuller's earth clay). Mix it to form a smooth paste. Apply to your hair and let it sit for 2 hours. Wash it normally.

  4. Take 2 Eggs, add 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice and 2 - 3 tablespoon Olive Oil. Massage this paste in your hair and let it sit for 20 - 30 minutes. Wash hair normally with an herbal shampoo.

  5. Include Vegetables, Proteins, Eggs and sprouted Legumes in your diet.

Oily Hair


When more oil is produced by hair follicles, your hair tends to get oily, shiny and dirty really fast. Using a lot of harmful chemicals and products also cause oily hair. Pimples and Prickly Heat on the face are other symptoms for oily hair.


Care for Hair:


  1. Remove Juice of 1 Lemon and apply it to your hair. Keep it for 30 minutes.

  2. Take 2 - 3 tablespoons Orange Juice, mix it with 1 tablespoon Multani Mitti (fuller's earth clay). Massage the scalp with this paste. Let it sit for 20 minutes.

  3. Massage with Olive Oil. Leave it overnight then wash your hair normally.

  4. Apply 1/4 - 1/2 cup Sour Curd. Keep it for 30 minutes.

  5. Take 1/4 cup Shikakai Powder, 1/2 cup Curd (natural sour yogurt), 1/2 cup Amla Powder in a bowl. Mix the ingredients to a paste like consistency. Massage scalp and leave it for 20 minutes.

Dandruff


White, flaky substance found on the hair scalp is called Dandruff. People who eat a lot of fried and spicy food are prone to dandruff. Frequent use of shampoo, dry and dirty hair usually makes your scalp itchy and causes dandruff.


Care for Hair:


  1. Boil 1/2 Ginger Root in 2 cups of Water until its reduced to 1 cup. Add 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice and 1 tablespoon Olive Oil. Strain and cool the mixture. Spray the water on scalp. Let it sit for 1 - 2 hours. Shampoo normally.

  2. Apply Neem Oil once or twice a week.

  3. Spray Lemon Juice on the scalp. Let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse hair with cold water.

  4. Soak 3 - 4 Aritha Pods (soap nut) in 1 cup of water overnight. Wash your hair with it the next day.

  5. Massage scalp thoroughly with 2 - 3 tablespoon Coconut Oil and a few drops of Tea Tree Oil. Keep it for 1 hour and rinse it normally.
