10 Best Ancient Remedies for Toothache that actually WORK!

Arghhhhh! TOOTHACHE! The worst kind of pain you could experience. Getting relief is the biggest concern when it comes to a toothache. The pain can either be; constant, sharp, sensitive or dull. Some pain can be so severe that its hard to eat or sleep.

  • Rub a pinch of Salt and Turmeric Powder to the swollen gum. Rinse after 5 minutes.

  • Put a few drops of Clove Oil in a cotton ball and press it down on the affected tooth for 10 - 15 minutes.

  • Chew on Basil Leaves slowly and let the juice swirl around your teeth.

  • Frequent rinsing with Salt Water gives relief to the teeth.

  • Rinse your mouth with 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil for 10 minutes.

  • Take 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil, 1/2 teaspoon Lemon Juice and a pinch of Salt. Mix and rub the paste on the affected tooth.

  • Drink a glass of Tomato Juice to stop bleeding gums.

Although these are not permanent solutions for toothache, they are still considered very effective. Moreover, maintaining a good oral hygiene is important. Brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing regularly and rinsing your mouth after food consumption is highly beneficial.

Dental visit is always recommended after every 6 months or if the pain gets worse at any point.
